I 'heart' this picture
This is one of those layout where I start one direction and finish in a whole 'nother realm, in a good way!
I made my background paper from various Kellie Stamps. My intention was to have a variety of bold, soft, fluid, rigid shapes and words. I then created two teardrop shapes to form a heart and cut those out using my Cricut in the shape of a heart. I was inspired by the red and gray paper in the Felicity Collection by Pink Fresh Studios.
And then the fun began; cutting more shapes, using the positive and negative 'heart' to create this layout. I also watercolored some black paper to give the layout some texture and added it around the central heart.
I find that cutting out the digital is starting be a favorite of mine in the design process.
Height for dimension were very important to me in this layout. I can't explain why, but it just felt right!
Here is the final project. I heart my family!
Thanks for stopping by today, folks!
I love ya!!
XOXOXOX
