Clique Kits June Blog Hop!
So super glad you are cruising on by with Clique Kits Blog Hop for June!
This kit was another home run for the girls to assemble. Such a cohesive kit...AGAIN!
So I shared this sneak over on my Instagram saying it was a quiet little corner! Well I couldn't help myself with this layout. The corrugated paper started me off on this ripping thing I couldn't shake!
And then I kept ripping, little bits of a 6 x 6 paper pad piece from Elle's Studio with typewriter font on it. I'm a sucker for old school I guess. Then stitched it down onto the background.
I then watercolored some spots and blew them with a straw in the direction I wanted to go! Adding those special touches with the wood veneers and cut-a-parts always give the right amount of detail.
To add to the nautical picture, I watched a You Tube video on how to tie this knot with the string provided for the corner of the picture. It's a Carrick Bend, btw.
