Card enclosure
The last thing my girlfriend of 3 kids needs me to buy when her fourth one, a boy, is due this month, is a cut little outfit. Gift certificates and cards are my go-to's whenever a it's-not-your-first-rodeo friend has a baby.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with handing her a card in the envelope made to go with it when you by it from the store. But what about jazzing it up with a card wrapper or outer envelope; something to put the congratulatory card in with the gift too.
I found a piece of paper in my stash that was a beach/ocean scene. Since I wanted to made this look kinda vintage I turned it on it's side an cut it into a letter size piece of paper.
At this point I was ready to decorate the paper with the Mother word stamps. I just repeated them at random and off set them a bit to give visual interest and printed it out onto the paper.
I picked out a backing paper that matched and sewed along 3 edges with my sewing machine to make a pocket for the card.
All that was left to do is add a fun jute string,
And some washi tape for a closure.
Motherhood is truly a magical thing even when it's your 4th and I wanted to let her know how special she and her family is by making a unique 'present'.
Thank you for stopping by Love Day Seed and I hope this inspires you to make the most out of those digital stamps!
Much Love,
Kim
