Snowy Roof Cover

There is just something about the quiet of a snowfalls evening, right before dusk when the birds come out for one last treat before sleep. Using one of the Planner Kit papers as inspiration, I created my own pitch perfect scene for the front of my standard size notebook.
After taking off the craft cover from the insert, I repurposed it as the house facade, angling it at just the perfect slope. Using an extra sliver of the insert paper, I cut a snowy roofline and used a marker as a shadow. Then made a chimney with some addition cover paper and decorated the rest with snowflakes and a curious little chickadee.

On the inside, I turned the adhesive pocket 90 degrees and cut the now top to create a taller, more open concept pocket ready to put all the stickers, journal cards and sticky notes for a productive January.
