Double Duty Vellum

Continuing the door theme for my planner for this fun project, I thought the snowflake vellum from the stationery kit would make the perfect door.  Not wanting to waste the beautiful design by pasting it directly on the paper notebook paper, I cut two long slits to create a pocket for the back.

But first I needed to decorate my door with the modern pink and green washi tape and wrap it like a present. After placing a wreath sticker on the front, I peeled the postcard in half and then cut it in half again to have just 1/4 of it under the vellum doors.

Since the vellum was threaded through to the backside, I had the perfect pocket for some secret Santa notes. Using both the tags included in the Stationery kit, I adhered them together and placed some sticky notes on the backside.

I couldn't help but make the front cover just as lovely by using the remaining cut parts of the postcard and added some of those lovely glitter stickers as accents.
