Three things about Three things

Image
https://youtu.be/a1G9Kbp2uwU   It's always hard to pick the three things I love and use the most. Paper's almost make the cut but for now, washi, diecuts and the notepad are definitely my favorite! Let's start with the always generous washi tape.  When you get so much there are so many useds, there is no excuse not to try it out in abundance.  I like to use it the define sections in my Cocoa Daisy Insert, both vertical and horizontal. I also use it to create narrow tabs to define days on the side of my insert. So super easy when you use a sharpie to write the date.  Also I use it to tape pieces of the notepad into my planner , to have it with me but not to be in it permanently. Which brings me to the next item I can't live without, which is the notepad from the Main Planner Kit  I had no idea I would get attached to this little workhorse.  Yes it's for lists; meal plans, grocery and the like but the notepad itself fits perfect in the back of my planner so ...

Home Planner

https://youtu.be/KFpBAx4Zc8Y I find it super difficult for me to keep all of those home tasks and feel less organized within a bound planner trying to keep track of where I wrote them, so I've decided to come up with a home planner for this rest of the year.  So I want to be in there every week and no better way to do that other than for meal planning. The extra graph scraps on the left of the picture are from when I took apart the Travelers Notebook and trimmed a few pages to use in here.  But I will say they are going to make very handy grocery lists. Of the 6 sections of this home planner, this next one is for house projects.  I already have a few in mind but I thought if I added a due date and the approximate cost of each task, it will come to fruition with more than just elbow grease.  ...

Daily Tabbed Notebook

We get a notebook pretty much every month in the Cocoa Daisy Main Planner Kit and this month I've decided to change things up and instead of using the pages independently, use them all together as a tabbed Daily Planner Notebook. A cover was in need since I am a throw and go kinda gal so I used the backer board packaging from the adhesive pockets included in the Planner Add on kit. It was the perfect height and I just trimmed it to the width of the notebook. Then I placed the polka dot edge on the bottom and wrapped it around the top so 1/2 half inch was secured with liquid adhesive on the back of the notepad.  Securing it temporarily with a binder clip was helpful until the glue dried. The self adhesive die cuts from the Main Planner Kit are always one of my favorite elements of each month, which is how I decorated the front.  I also added a little pen detail on the bottom of the cover as well. I un-scientifically divided the notebook into fourths, one for each week.  Th...
