Laura came out with 4 new sets last week and I was just mad to use them as soon as I had them in my inbox! Hello...They are GRAY!  A lovely shade of warm grey that really blend well with all types of picture pages from soft to modern. Here, using her Week in the Life Set,  I wrote a birthday journal card and stamped her age in a blue chalk ink!  She also has a soon to be freebie  that I was lucky enough to play with first!  I used all the cards in this set to finish a seashore layout from a recent beach jaunt.   It's the perfect shade of blue that matches the sea or sky to pull together your final summer vacation photos! In better terms, how I see what digital journal cards, script, stamps or elements are in my personal electronic file folders! I always use my phone, which is also my camera, to edit and print my pictures. But I wasn't happy how much time I was spending scrolling or looking in random folders looking for :THE ONE: I wanted to add. When deciding if I want to take a layout towards a certain theme, need a color scheme or digital stamp before printing, I consult   'the binder'. Crate Paper tags add a bit of sparkle! Each laminated section has a fun tab for my favorite digital makers. I have luckily amassed a bunch from Laurel Lane Designs.   Link to shop on sidebar 😊! After each purchase, I copy the collection image from their catalog into a Word template sheet.  Once it's full, it's printed out on card stock and placed in their lovely sections.   Don't forget to use the back side too! I was already working on a pocket page layout when the doorbell rang.   Hello September Capture Kit! There were some delicious items that I thought would work well with my double spread in a AM/PM day-in-the-life-theme. Digital stamps have become my obsession that I add to pictures before printing.  I added Kellie Winnell's in an opaque-e-ness way so the picture would still be the focal point but would still add some visual interest.    The Cocoa Vanilla paper and exclusive 3x4 Card trimmed made a great accent. That star is actually backwards!  The pink color on the proper side didn't really match the look I was going for so I just flipped it over.   Who says you have to use the "correct" side?! I attacked PM the same way...digital stamps, soft ephemera elements and plug and play 4x4 cards made this project super easy to put together. I 'love you' Flair and some ShopEvalicious wood veneer!?   #boom...

Digital Stamps: Kellie Winnell Working on a recent spread I just didn't like the way the filler and journal cards I had picked were looking with the pictures.  I made my own and thought I would share the love! Here's what you will need: 1.  a phone ( a smart one. no flip phones allowed) 2. Adobe Color App. 3. A photo editing App. 4. Digital Stamps ( anything in a .png format, really) ______________________________________________________ The Adobe Color App scans a photo on your phone or you can just point your phone camera to whatever you want to color match. It comes ups with the RGB code of 5 different points on your picture.   I scanned a picture twice and got two slight variation in coloring.  Picking the colors of my choice to work with I wrote down the RGB code to use in my photo editing app. I use PicsArt (android) for my photo editing.  Baring a step by step tutorial, I opened a blank ...

I have learned so very much! About myself, my style as a memory keeper, the way I document and reflect, design and look at everyday.  New photo techniques, editing and stamps, negative space and color, made this the most intense but rewarding experiences of my creative life.
