Winter Reflections

Image
The Main Planner Kit from Wisdom and kWonder, January 2026 is a visual reflection of my typical Ohio Winter! The days off combined with the wintery season is on display after I create a unique space to celebrate the first week of January. I knew the turning of the year was within this week in the new redesigned notebook, so I thought it needed a little something extra.   After using the large number stickers from the main planner kit, I embellished the pages with some of the die cut and PET stickers. Each with their own paper and opacity type it always makes the page pop just like the withered plants reaching out of the snowy fields.  Making a divider of sorts between those days was a fun way to use the kit paper. I did back it with one of the deco cards from Creative Kit anchored with washi tape strips from the Planner Sticker kit.  Again, this graphic card certainly reflects our already snowy landscape and low hanging sun. The front side is a list of my 2026 goals ...

Tip ins and Tasks

Image
I started this layout with one goal in mind,  to mix function and fun together. I wanted a space that held both my plans and a few reflections from the two days using the Snow Day Society Planner Kit. The grid layout made by the Planner Sticker Kit washi strips makes it segment all the different areas of life that make my day whole. One of my favorite parts of this spread is the f lip card journaling spot made from the Pen and Stamp card  I used it to jot down quick thoughts, little bits of gratitude the types of moments that don’t always make it into a memory page but still deserve to be remembered. Underneath, there’s space for a favorite holiday recipe because cozy planning just feels complete when cookies are involved, right?! I also included a small section for my to-do list, dinner plans, and a few personal notes.  This actually is a full box from the Planner Sticker kit chopped into 3 pieces. I love how this kind of layout lets me be creative without losing sight ...

Bad to Great Habits!

Image
Cocoa Daisy always includes five striped weekly spreads in their notebooks, but sometimes the way the dates fall means I only need four. That extra spread becomes my little playground where each month I get to experiment with different ways to use it. This time, I decided to turn it into a tool for building better habits. I’ve been wanting to shift a few of my not-so-great habits into more positive ones, so I made a habit tracker with a creative twist. Using the Daisy woodblock stamp from the Stationery Kit, I stamped out flowers where each petal represents a habit I want to focus on. Every day of the month, I can check in and choose one area to give a little extra attention. To finish it off, I used the Days of the Week stickers from the kit to label each daisy. I also added the top portion of one of the sticky notes as a title plate, which gives me space to add a favorite quote or encouraging reminder. It’s such a fun way to keep the page functional and inspiring at the same time. ...

Blocks of Functionality

Image
There’s nothing both more exciting and intimidating than a fresh planner page staring back at you. My go-to trick? Breaking it down into sections so I don’t feel lost in all that wide-open space of my Standard Notebook pages from Moss & Mirth.  The separate spaces are my key to functional success within this decorative page! Timed events are vertical this day using the  those clean, geometric hex boxes  from the Planner Sticker sheets which  makes checking events off oddly satisfying.   This way I can check each one off independently throughout my day to keep me on schedule. On the opposite side of the washi strip is 2 separate to do lists. Depending on the days of the week, I know how much space to allot each one; since it being Monday, work won the space race! Fast forward to Tuesday where  I have a few more timed events, so I just listed them at the top!  I have 3 priority lists that need to happen this day and I sectioned them out u...

Faux Tag Spread

Image
In a previous Cocoa Daisy project, I created a tag using the October Glow Creative Ki t paper to serve as a bookmark. I loved the idea so much that I decided to use it as a template throughout the spread. By tracing around it and then shading in the edges, I was able to mimic the look of layered paper and give my pages extra depth without the bulk. It creates a dimensional effect that makes the tags look like they’re tucked right into my notebook. To keep that “layered paper” look going, I added strips of washi tape from the Planner Kit to the top and bottom of each 'tag'  Washi is one of my favorite ways to bring in more texture without overwhelming the page. It frames the sections nicely and it also helps divide my to-dos from my daily schedule. On the left-hand side I used a Top 3 box to focus my priorities, then scattered in task lists, appointments, and reminders for the rest of the day. I also I divided my tasks into AM and PM lists I do this quite often because it makes...

Dainty Details Make the Difference

Image
In this spread using the Cocoa Daisy October Glow Planner Kit , I leaned into all the cozy autumn vibes with warm browns, golden leaves, and those sweet little bird accents. The layered washi down the middle makes a statement while delicate PET stickers, and tiny icons pull the whole layout together This 5 minute spread is still keeping it functional for me to be tracking priorities, meals, and daily tasks. What I love most is how the dainty details—like the garbage can sticker, the box labels for the dinner menu, the leaf stickers sliced down the middle and PET sticker berry sprigs.  They add personality without overwhelming the page. It’s proof that the smallest touches can transform a simple two day layout can be something inspiring and uniquely yours. Using the October Glow Main Planner kit stamp set I even had the space for notes and priorities at the top of each page.  Every sticker feels intentional here, framed by those natural tones and still it's a soft place to land...

Paper Quilt Cover

Image
I can't ever not make a cover each month for my Standard Travelers notebook from Cocoa Daisy!  While the craft paper cover it comes with is certainly functional an sometimes matches the kit colors, making one personalized with my need  for the month! For September, I created a double pocket situation on the front.  Using the Planner kit papers, the inner pocket was created by wrapping the paper around to the back but only adhering it to the top and bottom of the front.  The bottom portion pocket which houses the monthly calendar, was just a strip of scrap paper.  Such a simple and effective way to add one using a scrap piece of paper. Quilting still is something that I love to partake in and a lot of the techniques I've learned can be applied to paper crafting.  Thankfully with the paper designs this month I don't have to work hard to create a patch design. The two pattern side of the paper, with a few die cuts for decoration make me think I'm having...

Another Idea for Using the Striped Pages in my Cocoa Daisy Notebook!

Image
I’ve found another fun and functional way to use the always-requested striped pages in my Cocoa Daisy notebooks that I get in my Planner Kit ! I'm calling it my “Currently” page! I wanted to track something that would be meaningful not just at the beginning of the month but also the end! Covering the Days of the week with assorted stickers and dies cuts created this column of things that either reminded me of or inspired my September to be. For the rest of the striped section, I divided it in half for my currently topics first half of the month -'ings' and have a space for the other half at the end of the month. Using the Planner Sticker Kit , I created little boxes on the facing page so I could track either my moods or something that happend during the month which reminded me of that emotion.  I tend to usually use these stickers in my daily pages to mark the emotion of a certain task but in this frame of mind I think its fun to use them in a memory keeping sort of w...

Interactive Journaling with Acetate Frames: A Fresh Take Using the Cocoa Daisy Stationery Kit

Image
When I first opened the Cocoa Daisy Stationery Kit , I knew I wanted to do more than just decorate. I wanted to build something interactive—something that combined photos, journaling, and movement. That’s when this idea hit: what if I used the acetate sheets to frame sticky notes, creating little flip-open windows that could hold stories? Each acetate “frame” acts like a photo mat on one side and a journaling on the other side of the double sided sticky note base.  The sticky notes in this kit were the perfect size and already beautifully designed. I just trimmed the acetate slightly larger on one side and adhered one side to the page—leaving the other free write a little note about the picture These mini flaps are durable, fun to open, and a great way to sneak in extra journaling without cluttering your layout. Plus it hides your  journaling if you want a little more privacy. The day stickers from the Stationery Kit on each pic helps me keep the week straight. If you're read...
